ImagoInsights
presented by Lynn Turner
Fridays, Nov 10, Dec 1, 2023 and Jan 19, 2024
for 3.5 hours each session
We are inevitably attracted to someone with a different temperament and then, in relationship, wonder why the other doesn't look at the world or behave as we do. Our Nine innate temperaments found in the ancient Enneagram system provide a helpful template for Imago therapists. When clients and therapists know the basic temperaments at work in a relationship, harmonic understanding can begin.
The nitpicking 1 - Perfectionist is often drawn to the laid-back, 9 - Easy-Going partner. Then, in relationship, the 1 - Perfectionist decries the toys left around, while the 9 - Easy-Going says the children should be allowed to leave their toys in play. Help couples learn collaboration rather than conflict, using Imago skills and the 9 innate Enneagram temperaments.
Join us to explore how appreciations, Mirroring, Dialogue, Validation and Empathy all play a strong part in helping couples come to understand their different temperaments in order to harmonize with each other. This webinar will include an Enneagram Mandala using the Triune Brain, interviews with volunteers, small group discussions and examples of couple dilemmas by Enneagram.
