Learning Objectives

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Apply breath and somatic awareness techniques to help couples become more present in their relational interactions.

  • Facilitate awareness of physical sensations to help couples recognize and shift unconscious protective patterns.
  • Explore how simple somatic tools, such as grounding and breath awareness, can enhance Imago dialogue practices.

  • Identify opportunities for further training in Bioenergetic Analysis to deepen their somatic skill set.

    Participants will engage through:

    • Guided grounding and breath exercises to experience somatic awareness firsthand.
    • Viewing and discussing a recorded somatic couples session to observe techniques in action.
    • Opportunities to ask questions and engage in reflective dialogue.
    • If time permits, demonstrations of additional physical interventions to illustrate key somatic principles.

    This webinar will be presented online via Zoom and is intended for therapists in general at the intermediate level.

    Garet Bedrosian, LCSW, is a seasoned psychotherapist in private practice, an Imago Relationship Therapist and Workshop Presenter, and Faculty member of the Imago International Training Institute. She also serves as International Bioenergetic Analysis Faculty and is a Master Facilitator Equus Coach.
