Module 2 and Module 3

Continue your journey towards Imago Certification!

Modules 2 and 3 of Imago Clinical Training provide a more thorough exploration of the IMAGO Toolbox. Building on the theory presented in Module 1, these modules deepen the theory and illustrate how to apply the principles and processes in a clinical setting and as part of a larger couples therapy. You will receive expert coaching and feedback as you practice Imago skills in small groups.

Prerequisite:
Successful completion of Imago Clinical Training - Module 1.

$1000 per individual module

Payment Plan (optional)

Each 6-day Module can be paid in two installments: 50% due one week prior to the start of Day 1 and 50% due one week prior to the start of Day 4.

Payments for Workshop and Supervision will be due one week prior to their start date. Payment for Video Review will be due prior to the end of the trainee's supervision term.

Please note, a $50 payment plan service charge will be due at registration.

Continuing Education

Continuing Education - Currently Unavailable for IRNA Sponsored Training

At this time we are not able to offer Continuing Education (CE) Credits for IRNA Sponsored Imago Clinical Training Online. We are actively pursuing a new CE provider and will hopefully be able to offer CEs again by the end of 2024.

Faculty Instructors

Nedra Fetterman, PhD
Dr. Nedra Fetterman has been a licensed psychologist for 25+ years with a demonstrated history of working in the professional counseling and training industry. She is highly skilled in Couples Therapy, Psychotherapy, Training Therapists, Public Speaking, and Personal Development. She received her PhD focused in Human Development and Family Studies from Bryn Mawr College in 1990 and has trained extensively in Imago Relationship Therapy. She is a graduate of the Relationship Council of Philadelphia and the Gestalt Institute of Pennsylvania. She has been a keynote speaker at conferences (see her CV) and is a Senior Member of the Global Dialogue Institute of Haverford College in Pennsylvania.

Gene Shelly, M Div
Gene Shelly lives in Chambersburg PA after living and practicing in New York City for 48 years. He specialized as an individual psychotherapist/marriage counselor practicing Imago Relationship Therapy. Gene has been primarily known for his work as a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist, leading “Getting the Love You Want” couples workshops and as a Clinical Instructor of Imago theory and practice. He also provides supervision/consultation for several groups. Some groups are in their early learning stages of Imago practice and others are long-term groups working with couples in therapy.

Kobus van der Merwe, BD
Kobus van der Merwe began his training in Imago Relationship theory in 1996 with Hedy and Yumi Schleifer and subsequently completed his advanced training with Maya Kohlman in Denmark to become the first Imago workshop presenter in South Africa. Over the past 20 years, Kobus has presented workshops for couples all over Southern Africa and in the process assisted some 3200 couples in improving their relationships. He also works with individuals and groups.

Herb Tannenbaum, PhD
Herb has been a licensed psychologist for over 40 years. He is a faculty member of Imago International Training Institute and a certified Imago Therapist for over 30 years. Herb has presented the Getting The Love You Want Workshop throughout the United States. Herb is also a Fellow of the American Institute of Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. Currently, Herb is excited to be teaching online with the Online Committee of IITI.

Cancellation and Disclosures

Registration cancellations made up to 30 days prior to the start of the course (the date of the first live class) will be refunded in full (less transaction fees). Cancellations made between 30 days and 1 week prior to the start of the course will be refunded minus a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations made less than one week prior to the start of the course will be refunded minus a $100 administrative fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations after the first live class.
