Why do we fight over the kids?
Kids represent a lot of the joys and triggers of our experience being parented. We often fight over the kids when we are triggered by fear and stand firmly in our position for fear that something bad will happen to our children or worse yet, we will be judged by others as bad parents. Once these fears are explored in the IMAGO dialogue, parents can often learn ways to co-parent in a healthier, more objective manner.
