Online therapy has many disadvantages compared to working face to face. The lack of felt physical presence and energy, verbal and non-verbal connection, non-symbolic gestures to mention just a few cons. Yet, working with couples online offers the opportunity for a healing process that is beyond what is possible in face to face sessions.
In this talk Dr Kalanit Ben-Ari presents of the five primary advantages of working with couples online. She will discuss theoretically and psychologically what the meaning of the new therapeutic 'setting' means based on neuroscience evidence, and share case studies demonstrating her approach by means of creative interventions when working with couples online.
She will share with you how to use the online medium in creative ways to benefit the couples relationship, my tips and ideas about how to transform the disadvantages of therapy online to advantages and opportunities like we never had before, and discuss the neuroscience evidence to support my approach. It will be fun and you will gain practical tools to implement immediately.
